Bayeux Tapestry Archer stitched by Gail Haidon
Well done Gail, you’ve caught the feel of the original beautifuly.
Thanks. The Real Thing is certainly something to see!
Beauteous work, Gail. The original made quite an impression on us. Do you sell your work?
Thanks, Richard. No, I don’t sell my work (I think there were about 280 hours of work in that particular panel, and as it was done for my husband, there’s a bit of a dispute over who actually owns it!). You could always visit the Bayeux Tapestry Museum shop and buy a kit, it only took me 12 years on and off to complete mine, haha.
