When and Where we Meet

Advice re COVID-19 – 1 June 2020

For 2 months we have been unable to hold meetings because of Covid-19 restrictions. We are so pleased that, with the easing of restrictions, we are able to start opening our rooms.  However, we are still obliged to ensure we comply with restrictions relating to room size including allowing 4 sq metres per person and 1.5 meters space for social distancing.  This limits the numbers we can have stitching at any time.

Starting Monday 1 June we have adopted a booking system for people who want to come in and stitch at one of three session, 10:00 to 12:00 morning, 2:00-4:00 afternoons and 6:00-8:00pm evenings. Some special interest groups are also reconvening. Bookings can be made at embroideryacttres@gmail.com.  Our pandemic policy requires people to be well, with no known or suspected Covid-19 contact, and to comply with social distancing at all times.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone back but are focused on making sure we provide a safe place for members. Please take care, follow government advice on protecting your health and wellbeing, and keep stitching.
