Advice re COVID-19 – 1 September 2020
The Guild rooms are open for meetings but we must comply with Covid-19 restrictions relating to room size, including allowing 4 sq metres per person and 1.5 meters space for social distancing. This limits the numbers we can have stitching at any time.
There are 3 regular meeting sessions on Mondays: 10:00 to 12:00 mornings, 2:00-4:00 afternoons and 6:00-8:00 evenings. Our pandemic policy requires people to be well, with no known or suspected Covid-19 contact, and to comply with social distancing at all times. You may wear a mask if you wish.
In June we commenced a booking system for meetings. We were not overwhelmed with requests to attend and have therefore reverted to drop-in meetings. However, room number restrictions still apply, so if members turn up and the rooms are already full they will not be able to stay.
Special interest groups are meeting at their usual times. Unfortunately Young Stitchers activities are still suspended.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone back but are focused on making sure we provide a safe place for members. Please take care, follow government advice on protecting your health and wellbeing, and keep stitching.
