The Smocking Group is to provide support for those wanting to learn how to smock or to rediscover smocking. Guidance and assistance will be provided to those who need it for assembling their creations into garments. We will also do technique sessions by doing samplers and smaller projects. Most importantly we want you to enjoy this form of embroidery through doing the types of work that you want to do. Many of us have been re-inspired by the beautiful dresses worn by Charlotte (of the royal family).
