Brass (and other bits) Rubbings
We will be playing with various objects on paper and fabric to rub patterns from underneath for future background and pictures ideas.
What you may need:
● Fabric or Paper of choice – not too heavy to allow pattern through.
● Crayons (cheap kids ones are fine), charcoal, wax bars – your choice of marking medium. A bar of some description works best as it doesn’t leave other lines but pencils can be used.
● Bits and pieces, branches, leaves, bark, patterned plastic, coins, lace – nearly anything can be used.
● Sticky tape or masking tape to hold your creation down, this just aids in control.
Butchers and brown paper will be available as well as plain cotton white fabric and some bits that I found will be available for play.
Next month we will be decorating your creation.
